First seen & adored (by me) in The Full Monty where he played the sweet & loveable Gaz. But he also plays a great bad guy, which seems difficult for a lot of actors to do without going overboard.

More recently, I recognized him immediately in Eragon and when I excitedly told my friend "That's Robert Carlyle!", she looked at me blanky and said "Who?". I guess he's not very well known to some but he's definitely one to watch.

Plus, he's Scottish. Nummers.

She plays Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds, which is one of my favourite shows. I remember her vaguely from the short-lived LAX but I'm not really familiar with any of her other work.
